Private Yoga Instruction
 
At Yoga -for -All (YFA), we keep it simple.  We offer 1 hour lessons in either Hatha, VInyasa, or Power Yoga. (See descriptions below).
 
Hatha Yoga:  Hatha literally means sun - moon.  It combines two styles of yoga to both invigorate and restore the body and mind.  At YFA, we begin and end the practice with seated postures, while integrating vinyasa flow in the middle. Perfect for new comers or people who want a gentler practice.
 
VInyasa:  is a Sanskrit word meaning flow.  We move from one posture to the next while flowing with the natural rhythm of our breath.  We being the practice with sun salutations to warm up the body, move into standing postures to help strengthen and improve balance, and then end in grounding postures on the floor.  This is slightly more vigorous then the hatha practice, but appropriate for people of all fitness levels.
 
Power Yoga:  Derived from the ancient ashtanga practice, power yoga takes vinyasa yoga to a whole new level.  We integrate core strengthening and flow at faster pace then vinyasa: a superior workout.
