Private Yoga Instruction
At Yoga -for -All (YFA), we offer an eclectic fusion of hatha, vinyasa and kundalini techniques (see descriptions below)designed to both stimulate and calm your body and mind. This practice will leave you feeling awake, refreshed, and focused - open to whatever may come your way - so that no matter what transpires, you can have a great day!
Hatha: literally means sun - moon. It combines two styles of yoga to both invigorate and restore the body and mind.
VInyasa: is a Sanskrit word meaning flow. The practitioner moves from one posture to the next matching breath with movement while flowing in pace with the body's natural breathing rhythm. A vinyasa practice can be slow and gentle, aerobic and challenging, or a combination of both.
Kundalini: derived from the word kundal, kundalini litteraly means "the lock of hair from the beloved". This ancient practice utilizes long holds of postures combined with breathing techniques which release tension and energy blocks along the spine, balance brain chemistry and hormones, alter consciousness (in a good way), and allows you to tap into your true creative potential.
